I had a few lessons some years ago and, although I expect there are still aspects of my posture that would make an expert wince, it undoubtedly had lasting benefits: incipient backpain from sitting long hours at computer disappeared; I always notice, and have an impulse to shift, when I find myself standing with my weight on one side...
