Yup...

... Here we are. 2008. Hard to believe.

Did you read yesterday's lead editorial in the New York Times? It's a powerful, unsparing, comprehensive look at our current situation, and is worth the read.

On a more cheerful note, we have a great opportunity this year. I am finding myself more excited about the prospects of John Edwards than any other candidate. More tomorrow. Meantime, yes...

... a Happy New Year! May we all find true happiness and the source of happiness! May those we love find true happiness and the source of happiness. May those we dislike the most, and mistrust the most find true happiness and the source of happiness. In consequence, I believe, the world would be a better place.

I am getting very excited about John Edwards too. I so hope that he takes Iowa and builds momentum.
