Today, I simply refer you to this piece, written for the Huffington Post by Dr. Robert Mackey, Lieutenant Colonel, U.S. Army (Retired), a combat veteran of the invasion of Panama, Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom' former Assistant Professor of Military History at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, who served on the Army Staff and Joint Staff at the Pentagon; a regular contributor to Military History and World War II magazines; author of The UnCivil War: Irregular Warfare in the Upper South, 1861-1865 (2004, 2005); and currently a terrorism consultant in Washington, DC. With him, I am appalled by the latest smear tactics of Sarah Palin and her Republican running mate. This is disgusting.

I encountered Sarah's shit in the wee hours of this morning and became so pissed off that I couldn't get to sleep!

These “guilt by association” innuendos that the GOP is so fond of throwing about enrage me to no end. Thus far, if my memory is right, Senator Obama has been attacked for his relationships with his father, his step-father, his minister, and now a guy who was a so-called “terrorist” some 50 years ago.

Personally I find most soccer/hockey moms to be despicable creatures who live vicariously through their children. I wonder if the Governor of Alaska is associated with any?

Sometimes I wonder what Sarah Palin or John McCain would think if they ever heard themselves objectively. Their personal attacks are hardly worthy of a common playground. It just makes them sound childish.

Sarah Palin is, as I said in a post, one of the "cool kids" who never grew out of it.

Sarahcuda, indeed!

I find Palin to be very frightening and I think she has the potential to be as malignanlty stupid as GWB.
