NONE DARE CALL IT LOVE

I've had this coffee mug...

... for many years. I forget who gave it to me; perhaps I bought it at a garage sale. It seems like a fair representation of the state of affairs between the parties, though these days it's more like date rape than love-making. Have fun...

I have to say this, American Man: I welcome relevant comment, but I do not appreciate venom on The Buddha Diaries. It is antithetical to everything this blog stands for. If I let your comment stand, rather than delete it, it is only because I find it hard to delete the words that others have written. My readers, I'm sure, will put these words in a context other than my own.

In a world where supply is minus 20% of demand our natural resources are exhausted. Sustainable life is
no longer plausible with such a large footprint. Quality of life is best sustained by cooperative balance. Opportunity
for choice requires doing more with less. Eat less, walk more, grow food not lawns, paint the roofs of all buildings white, recycle everything three times and keep your venom
to yourself.
