The Global EBook Awards were announced at the weekend, and Persist was the winner in the Art/Graphics - Non Fiction category. Its full title, readers may remember, is Persist: In Praise of the Creative Spirit in a World Gone Mad With Commerce.
I confess that I have never read an ebook, but this is certainly gratifying news. My best thanks to the organizers, and especially those who read the book and thought well of it. It would be nice to think that the award might bring more readers to Persist and, eventually to Mind Work and The Buddha Diaries.
This, after all, is why I write. It's a matter of communication.
