SORRY

Sorry, friends.  I guess I'm tired and stupid on this, our last day in Belgium.  I just wrote a long entry about our second morning in Ghent, our visit to SMAK, the contemporary museum there, AND the promised story of the twenty-minute train ride from Ghent to Antwerp that turned into four hours... and then erased the entire thing.  I have not been able to find a way to recover it and I lack the energy to start again.  Here's a couple of pictures from the walk in the park that I described...

There's a long train ride from Brussels to London tomorrow.  Maybe I'll be able to remember everything.  And maybe not.

You may have deleted your post, but you delivered a wonderful photo. That picture of leaves on the road is wonderful.

Maybe you need to enjoy the vacation and give your blog a rest while you do the same with Ellie.0

Hi, Peter -
I haven't been keeping up with you and your blog lately so I am sorry for that. Especially when I've just noticed that you were here in Belgium. It would have been lovely to have had a chance to meet with you. But I guess I'll have to settle for a visit the next time I get to Laguna Beach. That will probably be next October 2013, when I go out to California for my Hollywood High School 50th reunion.
I agree with your other commenters - your photos are wonderful! I feel for you at the loss of your writing. So frustrating. Hope every moment of your trip is fulfilling and fun.
