SUFFERING...

... from a summer cold.  It has been on its way for several days, I think, and reached what I hope was its peak yesterday afternoon, evening, and night.  My head is stuffed with wool, and I keep nodding off into restless slumber.  Congestion, sore throat... It's going around.  Our daughter Sarah and grandson Luka were with us for the weekend, and it was something of a struggle to remain halfway present for them.  Today, I'm allowing myself to sit around and do very little--though I did make it down to the hardware store for a bolt to repair a broken piece of movable shelving under the kitchen counter; and stopped on the way home to give George his run in the park.  Now to find the patience needed to let this thing run its course...
