Today I am definitely
not Coyote; Today
I am Tortoise. There's
a surfeit of light, out there:
there's a surfeit of noise.
I pull in my tail, I pull in
my back feet, my front feet;
I pull in my head. Coyote
comes trotting by. He
flips me with his nose,
paws at me with his paw.
Today I am not
playing his game.
