TRY THIS...

Find a place to sit quietly--a shrine or a meditation corner if you have one.

As you breathe, notice all the ambient sounds.  Try to become aware of even the least of them.

Once the mind is settled in its observation of the sounds, allow it to move on into the great silence that embraces them all.

Come to rest in that silence.
