As an aspiring--and frequently substandard!--Buddhist brought up in a Christian family, I look askance at Christianity in America today. Televangelist Jesse Duplantis wants his congregation to buy him a $54 million jet because "Jesus wouldn't be riding a donkey" today; "he'd be in an airplane flying all over the world."
So I imagine the Buddha would be doing no less. You think?
