TATTOOS

I find it curious, checking on on the statistics of this blog, that by far and away the most read entry has been the one where I wrote about tattoos. Over the years it has received nearly 100,000 page views--more than double any other single post. Why such passionate interest, I wonder, in tattoos? Must be a cultural thing... I'm not keen on them myself. I see young women whose entire (visible!) body is covered with them at the gym and can't help wondering what they will look like when their skin becomes old and wrinkled, like my own?
