Friday, ha...!

My last "work" day of the week, and it promises to be a short one. Then down to Laguna for the long Memorial Day weekend, and back Tuesday for what might be the last day of jury service...

A welcome quiet evening at home last night, after the excesses of the night before. A bowl of homemade soup with cheese and crackers, and two recorded episodes of In Treatment, which we watch with a great deal of pleasure. Paul, the shrink who needs a good deal of shrinking himself, is the reluctant hero--or villain--in the lives of the four of his patients whose tribulations we get to follow in the round of weekly meetings. It's engaging, one-on-one confrontation, and the acting is excellent. Well worth watching, if you get HBO.
