TIME OFF

I'm taking a few days off from The Buddha Diaries in order to be able to concentrate fully on the completion of my new book, "Slow Looking."  Our summer break is approaching an end, and the days have sped by faster than we could have imagined.  If I give it my exclusive concentration in the coming, final week of summer, I should be able to have a decent draft by Labor Day.  Wish me luck.

Slow looking is the best way to see. I study trout and fly fish for them. Trout know best how to slow look.
The largest trout eat the smallest critters. The eat slow, move carefully and make very few mistakes which is, of course, why they have become old and wise.

time off is wonderful, but I hope you know the Republican convention is starting up, and your take on these things is always interesting. On the otherhand maybe it is the best time to take some time off. Stuart
