INSTRUCTIONS

DO THIS

Close
your eyes.
Open
your heart; pay
heed.
When you come
to the threshold,
do not hesitate,
leap boldly
ahead.
Here,
in the great silence,
there is nothing
to fear; there is
no gravity,
no up
and no down,
no rise
and no fall.
Here,
you may rest.

Wonderful Peter.Inspiring. I read it as a universal preparation for meditation, opening the door, and stepping over the "threshold" where we "may rest" ......for a while! Universal? Yes! I believe so, whatever one's creed. I take it as a guide in our life here on earth, but I also read the whole poem as very positive and convincing guidance as we get older!! And you leave it to the reader to add, or not, the word "eternal"!!!. A poem, in itself, for meditation!

With cheers and prayers,

Michael
