IF IT'S NOT ONE THING...

... it's another. It seems the tribulations of the homeowner are unending. So this apology, sent out to our neighbors this morning.

Dear Neighbors,

Our sincere apologies if you were awoken by a loud, piercing sound shortly after 2:15 AM last night. It took us a few minutes to trace the source to our outside tankless water heater. Miraculously, by dint of some totally inexpert fiddling with the only moving part I could find, I managed to stop the noise. We will have the system checked out today, by someone more expert than myself, and will hope not to have a repeat performance in the future.
